In the best – performing hospitals and Poor-performing categories had risk-adjusted mortality rates that were higher or lower than the average, to a statistically significant degree.The star ratings for women’s health and obstetrics at each of the 2,100 hospitals today today on HealthGrades website. Ratings are for hospitals in the 17 states that collect and publish patient – outcome data. Those states are: Arizona, California, Florida, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Washington and Wisconsin.
